The 1871 Tech Challenge connects, inspires, and strengthens the extraordinary talents of students passionate about technology. This is an opportunity for students to sharpen their coding skills and gain a pathway forward into a career in technology.
This year, we’re offering two exciting ways for you to join the program!
Option 1: Participate in the Tech Challenge
Compete in a virtual coding challenge to showcase your skills and win prizes while getting your resume and scores placed in front of companies.. The Tech Challenge occurs annually in and consists of two phases:
Phase 1: VIrtual Qualifying Coding Challenge now open!
Phase 2: Attend Tech Challenge Day and Final Coding Challenge on 10/18

Option 2: Join the Tech Challenge Day Experience (no coding required)!
Attend the in-person Tech Challenge Day event at 1871 Chicago on 10/18. The half-day program from 11:00am-2:30pm will consists of the following:
